I have a plant that I want to identify.

1. It has think stems coming up from the roots, about 2mm thick.

2. The leaves on the plant are long and slender. About 3" by 1/4"

3. It has a dark green color.

I know this is little information, but if you could just give me a suggestion, that'd be great too.

P.S. Feel free to ask for any extra info you may want...

TIA!

Wow, I'm curious. Sounds like a pretty plant. It's really hard to say what it is without seeing it, though. Try this site to see if there's a picture that matches:

Good luck.

I like the site Cichlid Woman gave because it has real pictures. This site has a lot more but, alas, they are drawings http://www.tropica.com/plant_print.asp

However, I have used it to get basic ideas and then done searches on specific plant names to get real pictures.
