Is there such a thing as to much oxygen in a tank? My fish has bubbles stuck to him from my powerhead(penuin 1140). Btw, it's a 110 gal.
Good news, I picking up 4 yellow labs today, 1male, one female, and 2 juvies.

Bubbles do not equal excess of oxygen. They just mean you have bubbles! :D

I have never seen fish with bubbles on them due to a power head... do the bubbles go away after time? As long as they really are just bubbles, I wouldn't think you have any major problem or concern on your hands.

No. They are not always on him. Sometimes I see them stick to him for a second and then when he moves, they just pop. I just didn't know if you could over-oxygenate.

So far, the yellow labs are doing fine in the tank with my polystigma. He doesn't seem to care about them.

But, it's just one of the funniest things I've seen today.. Thank You.. :bowing:

I can always tell when my paradise fish has been playing in the powerhead because he'll be covered in bubbles. As for over-oxygenating, it's really not possible. Only a certain amount of gas can dissolve into solution, the rest just bubbles off.
