What are the best type of plants to have with herbivores like Silver dollars who love to munch on anything green?

I have the same problem with some tinfoil barbs... time for them to go back to the LFS. :rolleyes:

I just sent my 4 one year old Silver Dollars back to the LFS! They have eaten any plant that I put in with the exception of Java Moss. They would even eat the Hikari Cichlid medium pellets. I think they will eat anything when hungry. I fed mine cooked/shelled peas.

Get a lettuce clip, etc and add Romaine and spinich. Frozen peas popped out the skin, zucchini blanched, Cucumber, squash, pumpkin etc.
You can put it in a blender etc and add some shimpmeat from the market and freeze this mash into small cubes etc and feed these.
