i just put a blue dempsey and a electric yellow cichild .....the blue dempsey is kinda lazy....and isnt eating alot......plus theirs alot of guppies still left in from when i was cycling the tank....its like the fish i want to get the food dont activly go after it and the guppies eat it all before it gets to the bottom of the tank......i've had dempseys before but i dont really know to much about them...espically the blue ones.....and also i have a clown knife....any info on them

When did you put them in? It may take a few days for them to become comfortable. Fish can go a day or 2 without food anyway. Are you sure the guppies are still all there? My jack will eat guppies/goldies before he eats his flake. do a head count on the guppies. If some come up missing, relocate them to another tank, as "feeders" are not as good as flake or pelets

Clown knives get very large, up to 25 inches+! They need a 175gal or larger tank and they are quite predatorial. I have a smaller knife, the african brown. I believe the clown knife is from asia, they look prettier than then the african brown but I enjoy my
Xenomystus nigri very much!

yeah well i hope they do eat the guppies......but yah they are starting to eat alot more.......and i didnt know much about the electric yellow cichilds so i was told they ate the regular flakes....but i've seen him eating the brine shrimp so....and yah i dunno about the clown knife....i dont even see it half the time.....so i dunno i might take it back :dance
