My female guppy is now alone :(. Well, she hangs near the top of the water(like 2 inches below it) all the time. Is she lonely? At first I thought swim bladder was getting to her, but shes fine. She lonely? Close to birth?

PS: She was playing with the current(the water the filter puts back in the tank). It was cool.

Is she gettin enought oxygen? Is she gasping at the surface? If not then maybe get another female and a male to keep her company.

Yes, I wanna do that. Get more guppies but I'm leaving for 1 month on December 23. I don't know If I should buy anymore fish and stuff right now. I want frogs, shrimp, and other fishes. Theres other fish in the tank, I don't think she's gasping for air. She doesn't look like she is too.

A question, I don't wanna make another thread. Can frogs and shrimp and community fish work together? Right now I got guppy, white clouds, zebra danios, pond snails(thats what I think they are, they came with the plants in their egg shells). I want to get those frogs that u usually see in stores, shrimp too.

Have you checked your water conditions? What's the nitrite, nitrate, and ammonia levels? Tank size? Temperature? Any external signs of disease? Did the other guppies die recently? What's your maintainence routine?

I doubt she's behaving this way because she's lonely, I'd more suspect that something else is going on.
