Is My Tank Overstocked??

The fact that I'm asking probably means that I am but I want confirmation nonetheless. I have a 120 gallon tank and here is what I have in it:

5 Red Hook Silver Dollars
11 Bala Sharks (3" each right now)
7 Tiger Barbs (1" each)
4 Gouramis (1" each right now)
2 Spotted Catfish (3-4" each)
1 Plecosumus (3")

Here is my filtration:
2 - 500 Aqua Clear hang on filters both have two sponges in them
1 Ehiem Pro II Canister Filter

If I need to reduce my fish population, which ones should I get rid of (I have a friend who will take them off of my hands).

Thats a hefty number of balas you got goin. Remember their adult size is close to a foot, so eventually, you'll have 11 foot long torpedoes in there.
Maybe go with either the balas (and cut their numbers) or go with the silver dollars, not both.
Also, i'd cut a few gouramis as well.

Your filtration is adequate though.

I agree with spartan. Go with the silver dollars or with about 5 bala sharks. Check out this link, it shows you how big bala sharks really get

I figured I was going a little overboard. This hobby is addicting. Incidentally, I'm in the process of buying another tank - a 200 gallon so I'll move some of them over to that tank once it's cycled.
