Hello to all. I currently have two red caps and have had a few in the past as well. The ones we have now are about 2 years old. One had lost his cap. It started slowly disappearing and then was completely gone a couple days ago. I've never seen this happen before. The other one still has his cap and they both are acting and eating fine so I don't know what is wrong, if anything at all. Can someone help?

Welcome to Aquaria Central!!

We would need to know a bit more about your setup in order to try and determine what is going on.
Size tank, filtration, water change routines, current water parameters, diet, and appearance of the wen itself. Are there any white floaty or fuzzy bits in it, red irritated areas, abcesses, or any other abnormalities?
A wen that collapses can be indicative of a staph infection, but I would want to rule out water problems before jumping to any conclusions.
So if you could please post your current water parameters and a description of your setup?
