Ive just bought the D-Deltec stirrer, and Im going to set it up next week but I think I would like to take advice from the experts on how to set it and get the right drip rate etc. Some thoughts of my own on the installation:
It will be placed in my RO water sump, have a small pump to feed it (I will probably tee the feed to the stirrer so I can drip both KW and Ro water (via an adjustable tap) into the refugium.
It will all be on a timer linked to a water level guage (i.e only comes on at night, and fills to appropriate level then shuts off).
Ive heard that they are 'dangerous' i.e. can cause huge rise in PH, or vica verca and can cause wipeouts, any views on this, and what test kits to employ ?
