Hi,

I'm looking to purchase some Riccia, but I'm having trouble finding it. I look at aquaticplants.com and they are out of stick. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Great, thanks!! I have a quick question. I have a 10 gallon tank with 21 W of light. The tank measures 13" square and 23" tall. Do you think I can get away with using this amount of light? I mean, for 4 bucks its worth a shot, but if it won't work then I can spend the money on something like Java Moss.

I've never had Riccia (I ordered from aquariumplants.com and they were out of stock!) so I can't say...sorry. Even a plea for mere clippings of Riccia in the want-ads has gone unanswered :sad

It will grow at that wattage with no shading and CO2. Very iffy without the CO2.

I just did water changes and threw out a couple of softball size bunches of it. Once you've got it, it's like a weed. Wish I'd known someone wanted it.

I'll be adding some DIY CO2, I'm just waiting for my new light to come in. Then I'm going to set up the CO2 (make sure that works), and then I'll order the plants. I'm thinkin of doin a Riccia/Java Moss mix and attach it all to some mesh and anchor it on the bottom. I read that the Riccia does better attached to live attachment media (the Java Moss).

Er...um...Len...someone *cough* wants it! :mad2
