wet mourning

well the skimmer that i was so proud of let me down today. i got up this mourning and found that something has gone wrong with it and it has drained about 15 gallons of water onto my front room floor! :thud:
the ball valve worked and stopped the water from running into the oveflow container, but then the top of my cup blew off and it all ran out from there. :mad2 i love my fish tank.

Oh man - sorry to hear that. I feel that we aren't true reefers until we've had a spill or flood of some sort. Hang in there! What type of skimmer was it?

The most ive dumped so far was about a gallon or two when i left the drainage pipe on the skimmer hanging over the edge of the sump. This is one thing that keeps me away from HOB skimmers..
