Is anyone here from michigan? The member list is way too long to find out each member's location, so to help me out any michigan members please post in here! Thank you.

Heck yeah - and it is weird... it seems like Michigan has more members on this forum than any other state (as far as regular/semi regular members go).
I am from the Lenawee County area of South East, Michigan... 30 minutes from Ann Arbor, 25 minutes from Toledo, Ohio. ;)

Hey babe. I'm just north of Ann Arbor, but I work in Williamston. That's less than ten minutes from Okemos!

SnakeIce: Who is your dad? I wonder if I know him. Holland is so small I probably do. I can understand if you don't want to have his name on here. Just tell me what high school he went to and the yr. he graduated. Can we at least start there?

Even Michiganders say, where the heck is that? It's about 40 mins northeast of Detroit, just west of New Baltimore, a couple of minutes from Anchor Bay off Lake St. Clair.

I have driven past there, to go to a wedding reception on the lake. It is small and rather quaint. :)

I'm all the way up in the U.P. in Negaunee, Marquette County....We tend to get forgotten about up here!! I'm originally from the Spring Lake/Grand Haven area but haven't lived there in years. Nice to see some fellow Michiganders around!!
Well I am another one from Houghton Lake here!

Does driving thru or visiting relatives count as being a michigian(sp?). I have cousins that live on the U.P. Escanaba. Home made pasties the best Dobber's Pasties yum yum yum
..... And Mackinaw Island is just gorgeous. Been there 3 times. Someone should start a new thread about how many people live in each state and the other countries. Since there are 70,474 members here and growing every minute. Now that just might be the longest thread here. Just an idea to ponder.:dance2: :)

Michigan here (Southfield), but soon moving to Florida (either Sarasota or the Fort Lauderdale area). It must have something to do with all of the water that surrounds both states which makes us "fish people". Maybe it's our big PENinsulas!
