I have just set up my first fish tank! It is a 20 gallon long. What kind of cycling product should I use? (Ammonia, cycle, bio-spira)

Do you have any fish in the tank yet? If so, you won't be able to cycle with ammonia, and the bio spira is supposed to be added at the same time you add the fish. IMO, cycle does not do anything but maybe shave off a few days of your cycle. I would not use it to cycle a tank. Here's a link that will tell you all you need to know about bio spira. I have used it 3 times with excellent results. It worked exactly as expected for me.

No there are no fish in my tank. What about Stress Zime, or big al's "bio support"?
