Hey, wanted to check with people on some DIY mods to my eclipse 2.
My first thought was to lift up the charcoal filter and put some biomax beneath it. Then I'd like to put some filter floss over the intake valve to help out with mechanical filtration.
It's just gonna be a pair of kribs and a couple dither fish in there, I'm not using this as an excuse to overstock, just thought it might be an idea on increasing filtration in my 25g without adding another filter. Also considering packing my Whisper with any leftover to try the same thing in my gourami tank. Plus, if anybody needed help seeding a tank, I could just take out a couple of the biomax rings and put em in a bag with some tank water and they'd be good to go. Any thoughts on the matter?
