Okay it has only been about a month and my JD are acting funny. I believe they are breeding again. All of a sudden their color goes from a light to dark black and one is all puffed up looking. They sit together under a flower pot for a few hours then hid for the rest of the day. Horny little turds. Think they are getting more than me. :mad2

my female dempsey lays eggs once a month as well, but my male pays no attention to her
