My 20 gallon tall. Setup is one month old (well, one month yesterday). Everything is pretty stable. pH of 7, KH of ~6-7 (so around 19-21ppm co2). Dual 2l co2 setup. Been dosing a little bit of Leaf Zone once a week, but going to start using PlantGro 2x week. Still waiting on my red foxtail for the back lefthand side of the tank, and tring to decide on a small forground carpet plant.

Very nice. I like your plant selection so far, especially the vals. What kind of light do you have on there?

For easy foreground plants that don't require as much maintenance dwarf sag is hard to beat. Also echindorous tenellus and baby tears (Hemianthus micranthemoides) are not too bad I don't think. A little more maintenance but also look really good are ones like glosso, riccia mats, hairgrass, and lilaeopsis.

65w 6700k coralife PC. My vals are corkscrew and italian. Man, i've tried baby tears 2x this past month, and both didnt do well. I've thrown them all out. But I did have one left behind (under the driftwood) that seems to be doing well now, so i'm gonna leave it and see how it starts growing.. I'm gonna look at the sward sag and the chain swords. I had something afew years back I got from petsmart and I loved it.. I think it was the pygmy chain... I've always liked the look of ricca, but with the crypt up front, i think some chain sword would look nice growing around it. But then again, i want a plant that doesnt grow tall in the front, so maybe some glossostigma. So hard to decide!
