Ive heard of this many times, but i know it cant be good for the fish. I overheard several kids talking about how their gonna get their fish home for thanksgiving break, and the most popular way is with a Nalgene bottle. Granted, it would probably be an upgrade for most of the beta's their keeping in the beta bowls, but i would imagine that the stress does some damage. I even overheard a kid say he was keeping two balas in his nalgene for the flight home. I dont know what to do, as i really cant suggest something that would be easier for them.
