The tank is running fine right now but I know I'll have problems later. It's a 40 gallon long setup housing a 4" blood parrot, 5 1/2" common pleco, 2" convict (he's only in there cuz he was the odd man out in a breeding tank) 1 1/2" jack dempsey, 3 tiger barbs, and a catfish (maybe a striped raphael?) that seems to be full grown at about 7".
I already plan on removing the convict since I have a breeding pair with fry in a 30 gallon.
They all get along remarkably well. The worst aggression I've seen is the convict chasing the jack or the BP bumping the pleco. None of them look as if they've been chewed on. The BP is the self proclaimed owner of the tank which seems to keep everything else in check. I don't have the space to set up a new tank so I'd like some advice on what needs to go back to the store or be pawned off on friends.
