Killer Sailfin?

I've got a mature male Sailfin Molly whom I bought with a mature female. I was hoping to breed them, but the male is very aggressive toward the female to the point of killing her. This has happened to three different females. He isn't mean to any other of my fish. I don't want to add another female for fear she'll die. Is this normal? Attached is a picture.

Add several females at the same time. 3 or more would be good. This spreads his attention out amongst several fish. This of course is assuming the tank is large enough and underpopulted enough for you to add these extra fish.

you could always kill the male....


or maybe do as suggested....
