My fish have the greatest personalities. They are happy to see me when I get home and practically dance in the tank. They are regular "feeder" goldfish. I have five adults, which are about 5 years old, one baby, which is about 2 years old, and 2 yearlings (one year old). The five adults are quite large; my female is the largest. One of the yearlings I added recently. I have to get used to his personality still. He watches me... a lot. He is a very strange fish. The others follow me around when I walk by the tank but he watches me very carefully. He is the first one to swim over to me and he stays, watching, seemingly mezmerized by me. Creepy. I still like him though.
As much as I enjoyed raising goldfish, I don't think I'll save the eggs anymore. It was a cute, one time experiment.
