my newly cut anubias plant

will it survive? i've cut it from the mother plant... the rhizome is only about an inch but its got lots of leaves and soem roots.

will it survive? i used a very sharp scissor wipe with alcohol.
i've read somewhere that the cut part should be rubbed with something?

also its in a 2.5 gallon with fert and a little gravel...
any tips?

its with a coffefolia in a 2.5 gallon tank.. will this do?
should i do frequent water changes?
trying to grow my coffefolia emeresed.

I've read that the rhizome should have at least 2 leaves on it. I just cut mine, don't rub anything on it, and they're fine. Had one with 2 leaves that I cut and the two leaves died. I left it alone and 3 tiny leaves grew in.
Weekly water changes will suffice.

My advice...wait.

thanks hope this one grows itsgot about 5-6 leaves... but only very small leaves

experiment with my anubias.

i/ve tried putting gravel with some peat in it and some organic fertilizer

by the way additional questions..

my other anubias plants seems to have lots of baby leaves...
and ive noticed some of them have their oiwn roots and rhiozomes..
about 1 inch rhizhimnes...

will the mother plant be harmed if i cut 1 or 2 little palnts off?
how about the little plants will they be able to survivce with 1 inch rhizomes?
they also have roots and little leaves.,..
