I have written 9 puffer profiles for TFH, for their new book, The Encyclopedia of Exotic Fishes. They are looking for pics of puffers for ID. They need 2 shots of each:
Carinotetraodon lorteti & Carinotetraodon irrubesco (differences in females & males should be visible)
Colomesus asellus
Tetraodon biocellatus
Tetraodon miurus (2 different colors would be good)
Tetraodon lineatus
Tetraodon mbu
Tetraodon nigroviridis (juvie & adult)
Tetraodon fluviatilis
Carinotetraodon travancoricus (male & female)
They need to be high resolution jpgs. Look at some fish profile books to see what kind of shots are usually used. Close-ups are best, either partially facing front or a profile of the fish. Not a picuture of your tank with the puffer in it. They are offering $20 each. Please email them to me, with your name & address.
