My discus came today! Here are some pictures. More to come soon!
Sorry for the sloppy pics. Its a bad combo of 1.) a bad camera and 2.) a bad photographer.
Hope it's just me, but the only one I could open was the tank pic, which was nice by the way.

me too, I can't view them :(
I can only see the first pic dosent it suck to go through all of those pics
and none of them work Ive also noticed that the majority of the time I only see a :huh: box with a question mark but everyone else metions how great the pics are im sure its just a simple matter By the way your tank looks good I want to see your discus, good luck...

chunksofpoooo- Yeah, I miss it too. But the 'puppy Cosimo' avatar is better because I took the pic myself :)

The pictures are so dark. Its hard to see anything. I NEED a new camera! Ill get some more pics. soon.
When I released one of the discus into my tank, I noticed that one gill was opening very wide. The other gill is funtioning normally. Is this a wound/birth defect? If it is a wound will it heal? If it is a birth defect will all of its babies (if any) have this trait? Thanks!

Hey! A couple quick questions...
Where did you order your discus, what were your feelings about the exprerience, and (if I'm not being to rude) how much did you pay per fish (and what size were they?)

I got them from www.discusmadness.com. They are about 2-3'' long and I paid $40 each. Shipping is $65 and $10 extra for Saturday. When mine came, some of their fins were a little torn, and one of them has a gill problem
(agression maybe?) but I dont think its anything major. I'm happy with the discus and would buy from them again.
