I have 5 baby fish in a small 5.5g tank. They have been eating liquid food for the past day. Someone at my LFS told be to crush some flakes in to a power and they feed that to them. I have also heard that brine shrimp are good food too. Hoe do I grow these shrimp? Which is better, crushed flakes or brine shrimp?

you know, i'm not sure exactly how to grow brine shrimp, but what i can tell is that brine shrimp are SEA MONKEYS. remember those guys from childhood? they came in a packet that you threw into the water and poof! brine shrimp. so, if you can get your hands on some sea monkeys you can effective "grow" brine shrimp. i usually just buy mine frozen.

I use crushed flake food.....easy put flakes in a ziplock bag, seal and crush!!! I haven't tried brine shrimp but there are brine shrimp "breeding" setups they cost under $10 US some even use a 2L soda bottle. Big Als, thatfish place they should have em.

i think it kinda depends on how big the little guys' mouths are. crushed flakes could be ok, but if you get them TOO small, will they get lost? i know that brine shrimp are a little bigger, but very flexible. my fish love both, but they get super excited for brine shrimp. just what i've seen.
