Or perhaps a mutation that I'm imagining is growing. In any case, I've searched around on the net for something on this and cant find a thing. Basically she has a small lump that stretches from her lip to her left eye almost, I'm sure it wasnt that close to her eye yesterday, it seems to be getting longer? She's been recently moved into the tank from my friend's one (I traded with him for one of my Pearl Gourami's, the pair I had were being way too aggressive, so sadly Fred had to go - but to a good home at least!) but had the lump before she came, so I couldnt say when or how it got there. I thought parasites maybe, but from what I've read your fish basically looks like its on a cocktail of drugs when its got them, and litte Anna is pretty peaceful except when Ted (the Pearl I still have) tries to bully her. She's eating like crazy too, all my fish do, they're all insanely greedy, even worse than the cats, it still amazes me. I think thats it, if anyone has any idea what this could be (especially if its my imagination, I tend to worry) then I'd love to hear it!
