Does anyone have any thoughts on Automatic Digital remote controlled aquarium heaters? I just saw an ad for one and I thought it would be nice. Every time I need to make an adjustment to my temperature, I have to take off my canopy and cover - real heavy and can't do it by myself. It would make adjustments easy plus you get a digital temp display.

seems good in theory doesnt it
the same applies for me tank top not huge only a meter wide but i cant do it on my own and this would make my life so much easier

i will need to do a uk search for one :)
 
I'm sure that the unit will probably work very well... It's just a question of how much you're willing to spend for the convenience! If as you say you need help taking off the hood of the aquarium, then this might be a very good investment indeed. Just be sure to check out the warranty of the product before committing! Do they have any technical support you can phone? If the unit breaks, do you have to ship it long distances? If this is the case then I guess you always have your old heater as a backup... But those are just some things to consider. Looks like a good product tho
