So many Filters, dont know what to do...

I have a penn-plax heater, and i can say it is very low quality.

It is almost 20 years old, so i figures that since it is old, it may just be giving up.

My friend gave me a new one that was too big for his tank, and this thing was even worse.

If their filters are as bad as their heaters, i wouldnt get it.

filsters *^%#@ what to use?

I have an aqua clear 200 and have been worried it stops when I'm not here. I could have bought another and ran i simultaneously with the other, but instead I opted for the submersible stingray elite 15 and put it at the back of the tank under the outpour of the 200. There's a bit more current, but the fishies don't seem to mind. Now I don't have to worry so much if one of them stops.
I could have just got a bigger filter but the I would have had the same problem just relying on one. The ac200 was doing an ok job, and my tank was cycled and I didn't want to screw up that. So, we shall see.

Just a thought. A submersible is always an option if your not happy with the one you buy. I attatched a pic before I moved it to the middle under the current of the ac200

Ps Do you blieve there are 14 fish in this tank and in this pic you can't see one ????
