Utensil for pruning plants?

I think I remember someone on here mentioning that they used some long-handled sugery-type scissors to trim aquatic plants.

Does anyone know where to get one or have another suggestion? My Hornwort is growing like mad, I need to trim it up a little.

They are in the scissors section at many pharmacies. Those and the little mustache trimming scissors are great for pruning.

Kind of a hijack, but additional questions on the same thought:

Is there a source for longer tools, my big tank is 31" high and when the 67g gets running it is 25" high. most of the good tools I have found on-line are 11 inches long, and I would really like to find some stainless tools in the 24" range. Does anyone know of a source for these? I have a plactic tong/pruner that is 24", but it isn't the best to work with especially for any kind of delicate pruning operations.
