there is one off of the coast of NJ also...
these are old news I thought, the link indicates that particular boat was discovered in 1989...

I remember reading about their discovery about 10 years ago...

I was watching a program on the Discovery Channel about this a couple of weeks ago. They showed where they found one in the northern part of the Gulf of Mexico by Louisiana and Mississippi.

During WWII the government tried to have cities in Florida to have black out periods with their city lights, but they didn't listen. Cities were worried it would hurt their profits from tourism. So the Germans used these city lights for navigation.
