I just rudely came in and started asking questions and didnt really introduce myself. I am from Norrth AL. I have been in the hobby for about 5 years. I started with a 55 g. I stocked it with goldfish since I didn't know anything. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and see them boil and jump out of the water  I then bought some oscars and a pleco. They all lived together fine till they out grew the tank. I was blessed to find a new home for them. A friend at work had a 125g that he had goldfish in. He normally had them in a garden pond but had them inside since he had no other fish. He now had to take all the gravel out of his tank for my oscars would pick up the pieces and spit them out against the glass. He was scared they might break it.
I now have my tank set up with community fish. 3 neon tetrras, 3 danios, 2 female guppies, 7 males, 5 glow light tetras, 8 mollies, and two small plecos. My step son and daughter have tanks now too. He has a 29g for his birthday that he has 2 dwarf gouramis, 2 plecos, 5 killies, and 3 rainbow fish. She has just 4 goldfish and a pleco in a 5g hex tank. Now if I could talk my wife into a 90-125g for the bedroom stocked full of cichlids.

Welcome aboard!
You never know with wives and tanks. I lived with Anti-tank woman for years until she saw some puffers at the store. Now there is a freshwater community plant tank AND a brackish puffer tank in the family room! And YES, this led me to believe there is a GOD! :D
