Well today is week eight, and the nitrites have finally dropped to 0. What next? I was thinking of adding a pair of percula clowns? Should I add these first before any other fish? Or should I have the other fish established before the clowns go in? I was thinking of a Royal Gramma, and a Firefish. Would these be good tank mates for some clowns? Thanks.

I think the tank would have cycled alot faster but I added 40lbs of sand(20lbs Arag-ALive, and 20lbs Seaflor special grade) as well as 10lbs of uncured live rock at about the 4 week stage. Also these fish wouldn't bother some hermits and snails would they? I have read that they wouldn't, but you never now sometimes.

When my tank was done cycling I added 2 clowns, and 5 hermit crabs. The clowns continue to be in excellent condition and the hermits are always crawling around unharmed by the fish and eating lots of algea. Both hermit crabs and clowns are fairly hardy so you should be fine with those.
