Hi all,
After having a grand success with my two new JBJ nano cubes, I'd like to try another mini-aquarium. I'm considering purchasing a Marineland Eclipse (6 gallon setup). I want to plant the tank pretty heavily, so I'll be retrofitting a new system of lights into the hood and adding CO2. The plants will be baby tears, dwarf hairgrass, and perhaps a green cambomba.
Although I've gotten that all figured out, I can't decide on the fish. Here are the ones I'm interested in - anyone who has an opinion, please respond with stocking suggestions from the list below! I'd love to hear some personal experiences. So here's the list:
-1 pair Scarlet Badis
-1 male halfmoon betta
-Trio of dwarf puffers
-Neon tetras or similar small livebearer (already keeping Endler's, and I'd rather not purchase any more)
-Red cherry shrimp
All suggestions are welcome! I have no idea how much such a tiny tank could handle!
