ive got 2 platies that apear pregnant because a. there big and b. the males our paying a lot of attention to them weve got 4 platies 2 our males two are females we just discovered this today weve got a couple breeding nets to put the females in im just not sure how long theve been pregnant and how long the gestation even is basicly my question is what should i do at this point should i put them in the nets and they are going to give live birth right. thanks any hep will help.

Wooo, get ready to have a new batch of babies every month or so! If there's room in your tank for them you might want to keep the female to male ratio at 2:1 or more. The males will constantly chase and harass the females if they are kept in pairs, better to have more females than males. Too bad you don't live close by me, I've got some young female platies in need of a home!
