My tomato clownfish came down with what appeared to be ich and another parasite. The ich was obvious but the other parasite was much finer and more disperesed than ich. It was the same white color and had a salt like apperance, just smaller and it covered him much more.

I quarentined him, freshwater bath, and then treated him with malachite green. I have removed the malachite green and have him in hyposalinity 1.010. While the parasite seems to be clear it looks like he may have a secondary infection, maybe excess mucus production. Any suggestions?

The excess mucus could be the result of the low salinity, especially if the pH dropped as well. The 'other' sounds like velvet maybe? I'd start moving him back up to regular salinity--1.010 is really low to keep the fish at for very long.
