Help!!!

Ok here is the situation...
I got a 55 gallon tank from a lady who had 2 LARGE oscars 1 LARGE jack dempsy and 3 large silver dollars... I took the tank knowing that was all i wanted but i didnt want the fish and if i left them behind i knew for sure they were going to die...and i didnt want that to happen so i took them hoping i would be able to find them a home in a pet store or somewhere but when i called around to the LFS they wouldnt give me much of a store credit .. and i cant seem to find a place for these fish to be comfortable.. they are to crowded in this 55 gallon being the size they are (around 10'' long each) ...so what do I do ...

Give them back to the store and take what you can get. It's not like you paid for the fish, right? Fish stores have a hard time selling big fish and they are expensive to feed.

Try contacting your local aquarium society. They might be ablet o help you find a home for them. If not just give them to a store that will take them.

Yeah i agree dont bother with trying to get money for them, just give them away to a pet store or someone so at least they get a place to live!

GOOD NEW EVERYONE!!
I found a home for the oscars and the jack dempsy.
they are going to a home with a man that runs a rescue of koi and large fish he said he has a 300 and something tank that they will be really happy in..this pleases me to the utmost gratification!!! Thank you all for the support and the help that you all have givin me in the past I would also like to tell everyone that I found homes for all the convicts I had I now only have 2 of those and 2 african kenyi... planning to try and find a female kenyi and breed them...no such luck i had 4 and 2 were killed and now only 2 are left...they seem to be getting along..just hope i can find a mate for them...and when I get my 55 gallon running well I plan on transfering them from the 30 to there.
