I set up my 75 with a DSB, LS and LR, how often do I need to test the water, and how long should it take to complete the cycle? I don't want to test the water every day if it isn't necessary. Also with the LR, LS and DSB is the shrimp also needed? Any help would be great. Thanks.

was the rock cured when you got it? was it in tanks? or did it come dry in a crate?
how much LR and LS did you get? how much is dead?
there are a couple factors that would influence if you need to toss in a shrimp or not
do you plan on adding fish? or is this gonna be a coral tank?

It was aquacultured LR. Looks to be about 50lbs. and 20lbs of live sand. It will all be arriving tomorrow. The tank is just water and dead sand at the moment. I got it all from www.saltwaterfish.com if you need anything else, let me know. Thanks.
