Hey all!
I'm new here and just wanted to introduce myself... I have been keeping fish for over 10 years and have had a 66 gallon brackish tank running for the last 3 years. It's current residents are: 1 GSP, 1 "Freshwater" Moray Eel, 3 Archers(just introduced yesterday), 12 Bumble Bee Gobies, and 3 Mono Sebae... I also have a 5 gallon "snail breeder tank" and a 10 gallon tank that I keep ghost shrimp in(**** things only last a week!). I am a member of the PN forums, and have been visiting these forums for a while now, just never signed up...
Anyways, just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone here and look forward to being here.
Also, I do have a quick question: Does anyone else out there have Archers? I have read many places that say they only eat from the surface, however, mine are readily eating bloodworms and ghost shrimp, chasing them all over the tank. Would you recommend "dropping" the water level in the tank and perhaps putting a piece of driftwood above the surface so the archers could "shoot" crickets down for food? I think this would look really cool, but if it's not totally necessary then I'll wait and see how they do...
THANX
