Hi
I am probably being really dense here but are the values of nitrite ,nitrate, and ammonia the same if they are quoted as ppm or mg/l ???
My kit gives values as mg/l and i just wanted to check we are quoting the same magnitude of values!

Same thing. A litre of pure water at 25C weighs a kilogram (a million mg).

Ammonia tests can sometimes be quoted as total ammonia/ammonium or just the toxic ammonia portion - depends on the test, but both are in ppm (mg/l)...
