On the look out for anyone who keeps this fish. It is known as the freshwater tiger shark. Thanks in advance.

Doubtless you've already followed up this exchange at Bob Fenner's well-known site: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/FWSubWebIndex/minnowfaqs.htm

Sounds like a coldwater fish that would be good for a pond eh.

Thanks for the reply. I am the person who inquired Mr. Fenner actually. Seems like I'll never find anyone else who keeps them. There is little information available on the net, and they are very rare in aquaria.

heh heh heh and there I thought I was the smart one, eh. It's lonely out there in Sarcocheilichthysland, huh? Maybe you should have a second tank with some Clown Loaches...

Why do you say clown loaches? Funny, cause I have some. I also wouldn't consider them cold water. More of a cool water. The guy I got them from has kept them for years in the past in tropical setups. I would think they would be more popular. They are a very hardy fish, and have great personality. There is some info on fishbase, but that site is arguing with me this morning.
