should i remove my nanas from their pots and attach them to a little driftwood with gravel instead? or will these be better as is?

those pots are to make it easy for the growers to grow and transport the plants, but are not nessasary in an aquarium. if you have a spot you want it attached to by all means carefully cut the pot off and remove the wool. use something like a soft yarn to hold it in the position you want it untill it holds on its own.

I would definitely take the nanas out of the pot and attach it to some driftwood with fishing line/cotton string

BTW, would anubias nana be okay rooted in gravel? I have mine rooted in the gravel and am not sure if that is too good for it.

Would attatching it to small rocks be sufficient also?

You can put the Anubias in the gravel, provided that the rhizome is still on top and not covered. I'm not sure about tying it to rocks, as I'm not sure how well it'll grow "into" the rocks

The cotton-like media that the roots are packed in is loaded with nutrients that can cause algae issues if allowed to get into the water table.
If you intend to plant so that it and the entire pot is buried(not a good idea with Anubia), leaving them in the pots is do-able, but not advisable.
Anubia will, in most cases, attach itself to many porous surfaces over time. Natural rocks being porous are good subjects to try to root them into.

Would you say rooting to a rock would be better? Would rooting in the gravel be unhealthy for it? If the rhizome is abouve the gravel, the health of the plant would be indifferent to where it is either on rock or gravel?
