quarantine of plants?

do plants need to be quarantined as well?
bought some java moss. am wondering if i need to quarantine or disinfect them?
or can i just stick them on some driftwood?

I good idea if you want to make sure that there are no snail/snail eggs that are attached to the plants is a potassium permanganate dip. Another method some people prefer is to use a bleach dip, but this is really drastic and has a high chance of killing your plants if you don't know what you're doing

I QT new plants, same as anything alive or non-food organic that goes into my tanks.

how long should the quarantine be? what do i look for in the [plants , to make sure they are pest free...
if using bleach... since i don't have pp anymore
i read of 1 part b;leach 20 water... is this ok?
will try this method since i bought the moss very cheap
