All:

I am interested in starting an African cichlid tank, most likely a lake Tanginyika tank, and am having a hard time finding a place that has the fish I would like. Does anyone know of some good places online where I might be able to find some of the "hard to find" species? Not really big on buying from local pet stores at the moment... Thanks in advance.

Google either wet thumb aquatics or armkes. Both are good, and have a good selection of tangs.

Where are you located?

You can also try the CRLCA at:
http://www.crlca.com/fishsite/nonmember.html

They sell both wild caught and G1 + G2 adults and fry for both Malawi and Tangynika.

Howdy,,

wetthumbaquatics.com Great selection and Super people

commonwealth.net/bob Great Selection from a knowledgeable breeder

Both of the above breeders have the parents of the fry on display.
This will give you a good idea of the quality of the fry..
