When you add drops of reagent to a water sample, do you include the final drop that changes the water from blue to yellow or count only up to that point when determining the KH of the sample? For example, if the 4th drop of reagent changes the water color from blue to yellow (using a 5ml sample) is the KH considered to be 3 or 4? Thank you.
 
4, which is the total # of drops added. With the Aquarium Pharmaceutacals test kit, the instructions state:

"The (KH) ....is determined by the number of drops of the reagent that must be added to turn the water in the test tube bright yellow."
