I began my tank with 6 black skirt tetras, but lost one to ich. about 3 weeks later (dec 31) I introduced one more. they were soon agressive towards one another, and I realized that I probably interupted their little society and they needed to make a new pecking order. this was fine, and I figured eventualy they would settle down. just now, though, I noticed that one fish had his dorsal fin RIPPED IN HALF! (I assume from another fish, but I wasn't watching those two specificly at the time) The middle of the fin is ripped downwards, from the top to the bottom. he (I think it's a male) still swims all right and is defending himself, so I think he'll be fine.
will this wound heal, at least most of the way? I'd take a picture but I don't have a digital camera. I've had fish heal from finrot etc, but nothing like this. another fish has a small nick in his anal fin, but its nothing serious. when will they finally settle down!?

Can't say when they'll settle but the tetra with the dorsal rip will likely be fine, but with such a rip may not heal fully, esp if constantly challenged.
