I'm assuming the little hard corals that come on my fl live rock are called cup corals..the little clear legged hard corals..at any rate I put a small squid tentacle, to feed the fairy wrasses, and the newest little yellow fin fairy wrasse grabbed it!! As it was to large for him to eat whole, as I was watching him bang it up against the live rock, to cut it I'm assuming, he brushed it up against these little corals, and they literally pulled the squid out of his mouth, they had little arms coming from everywhere and literally dissolved the tentacle in 2 hours..No these aren't aiptaisias or anemones, just the little corals..been in the tank for 1 1/2 years now..just never seen them do anything like that, thought it was neat..

I have about 100 of them on my TBS LR and they slowly spread and grow. I had a small Xynia frag come loose and float into one of them and it almost totally "digested" it overnight. They are aggessive little boogers!!
