Now that I'm a new Oscar keeper, I figured it would be time for me to ask this question before he gets big enough to jump out of the tank. Are there any locking glass tops that can be purchased for fish tanks? I saw some at the pet store today, but they were for reptile tanks. The people working at the store couldn't give me any details about them or where I could find any for my tank? Have any of you guys heard or seen any of these for fish tanks? If so, where can they be purchased?

thanks in advance.

I have a silver arowana that needs secure tops, also. I put velcro on the glass tops that came with my tank. This seems to be strong enough for my aro, and I know from trying to pull it up that it grips tight. HTH

The velcro sounds like a good idea, and it's probably what I will end up doing. I would still be interested in finding out something about those locking tops though, as they looked really nifty. Oh well, if anybody has any information about them, then reply here. Otherwise, i'm off to find me some velcro...which come think of it, I have no idea where to look for velcro either. lol

Thanks for the velcro tip!
