Just wondering about a......

I was wondering about where and how much it would cost to buy a nice 10-20 gallon tank (rectangular)....it would be much appreciated (online preferably) the good LFS is 30 mins away and I dont have a car (I'm only 13) and my parents are busy.....so I was JW about a nice, cheap aquarium place online.

Check PetSmart.com and Petco.com--they both will sell tanks, a bit less than local prices, usually. It might be worth it to see if your parents could help you pick one up from the store--shipping on glass tanks can be pricy!

THX, i agree, I checked out the sites, and didnt really see much, so I'm gonna go see the stores in person, because they have all the better tanks shown at the store

most of the LFS I've been to give away 10g tanks for free, or at the most charge 5$
to put it in perspective, you can get a 29g for about 15-20$

then just grab a tiny heater - probably about 7-15$ (used is fine)
a tiny filter - about 15-20$ (used is fine)
a bag of gravel - 3$
and ur off to the races.
You could go for some test kits, but assuming your not keeping super tough fish or trying some rare breedings then there is little use in testings (IMHO)
