I am looking into purchasing a few beginner corals. I noticed that different corals require different amounts of water flow. Can you have too much water flow for corals that only require low to moderate water flow? Thanks in advance...
Yes. Corals that need low flow areas often will not extend their polyps to feed if there is to much flow, and this can kill them. Often, you can create a low flow area by re-arranging rocks to block the flow or deflect it to another area.
