Aquari-sol for ick, safe for plants?

Hey guys,

I bought some ick medicine called Aquri-sol, the guy at my local LFS told me that its the safest treatment out there towards plants. I think its copper based, very small amount though apparently.

True or false?
 
It'll kill invertebrates (snails), but worked great for me in the past. I had a 55gal years ago, which I treated regularly with Aquarisol, and I had Angels breeding in the tank at 2 week intervals, and the plants were doing great. It's copper sulfate, I think.
