I'm going with something similar to this. This guy is developing a strong customer base here in FL and has a good rep on Ebay.

You could go to a glasier and get them to cut the glass for you and bevel the edges then all you need to do is put it together with some silicone..
I had mine made out of 20mm base and 15mm sides cost me under 50 dollors for the glass.
If your making a really big tank you might want to go 10x10 laminated glass for a tank that holds 2 - 5 tonns

The glass thinkness i used was for a cubic meter tank in the above post.
If you only want a small tank you would only need 1/4 inch or 6mm glass.

Brovo,
Do you have pics of your 1 meter tank?? I'd love to see some. That's about the size I'm thinking about and still haven't decided to go with acrylic or glass, buy or build.
Bswim,
I think that 36 watts would be minimal and not nearly enough for corals. I think that's a "base package" You can order whatever you want from him, with/without lighting, etc.

Hi.
I don't have one of these, but they have one (24 gal Nano Reef) set up at my LFS here in Nashville and they look nice. They have a full reef setup, so the lighting is adequate for that.
