Few questions about puffers...

1. I have a fully cycled freshwater tank already set up, i was wondering if i couuld just convert the water to brackish for a puffer fish without losing the beneficial bacteria??

2. What is the salt/gallons of water ratio for a figure 8 puffer?

3. How big do figure 8 puffers get?

4. Any possible tankmates??

10 gallon probably isn't enough space. And the bacteria will die off as the tank is converted, they are different bacteria. Also make sure that you use Marine Salt and not just freshwater aquarium salt.
